A Busy life? What is this madness?

Ok, sorry about the delay guys! I have just been busy the past few days. Wednesday I went shopping with my mom (I'm sure I told you that in a previous blog, so if I did, I apologize for repeating myself.), and then ordered my books for college, so by the time we got all of that accomplished we were both irritable and ready to call it quits. Thursday, I had to clean out my car, which took a while (my car was dirty both inside and out!), so that took up most of my energy. Last night, I had to work and didn't get home till about 10:30 PM. At that point I just didn't feel like posting a blog. But today was a relaxed day, so now you'll be all caught up.

As for yesterday, work was very tiring. Not only that, but just about everyone I knew decided to stop by and purchase something. My old principal, the lunch ladies, a couple of classmates, and even some friends' moms stopped by too. Apparently I was a popular person yesterday. But yeah, that's about it. Nothing else happened today, so yeah... On another note, this next week is going to be hectic. I have a million things to do (including getting the final things for college since it's the week I move in), so I may not have time to post a blog. Don't worry though, things will die down by Wednesday, so expect a post then. If I have some free time before then, I'll try to write a quick post, but I can't promise anything. Until then, sayonara!

So...tired...

I hate shopping, My friends, family, etc. have heard me say it over and over, but tonight proved it to be true. I really hate shopping. Normally, I'll be alright with it (not thrilled unless it's something I absolutely want which is usually a game or some comfort item like a blanket or a pillow) if it's for me, but tonight it was half and half. We went to Kohls to pick up a few things for me to wear to work, and my mom wanted to look for some pants as well. We got there at about 7 o'clock. We didn't leave till 9:30. We ended up finding shirts and capris and everything else. XD

I didn't think we were going to be out that long. I don't think I've ever been this tired, and my feet have never hurt this much before. But I got some clothes for me, and I finally got out of the house, so besides the two and a half hours of shopping (bleh >.<), waiting for about twenty minutes to apply for a Kohls card (like a credit card only for Kohls), and then trying to order books online and having multiple problems with it (don't even get me started on that or you'll fall asleep halfway through the story), I am almost ready for college. I am so excited.

One last thing I wanna tell you: I have a job interview on Monday for a store right across from my college! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time, but I still have time to prepare for it. Well, that's it for today. A lot more exciting than the first two days of the week, so hopefully this post is a lot more fun to read. Anyways, I'm tired, so I'm gonna go. Sayonara!

I can't believe it...

So. Again, not much went on today. I cut the grass, which was unbearable. I don't think I've ever sweated that much in my life (I hardly ever sweat. EVER.), and this time I was almost dripping with it. But anyways, on a lesser gross note, I got some more college stuff together. It didn't really hit me until tonight while I was putting stuff in my book bag (obviously not my laptop, but other school supplies) to take with me. I just stood there, and then it hit me.

I'm going to college, away from home (well, 45 minutes really, but to me that's like being six hours from home), for a whole year.

God, where did my life go? It seems like I was just starting high school yesterday, and only grade school just a week ago. Geez, am I getting old (ugh I can hear my mom's voice in the back of my head saying 'You feel old?! I'm the one who's old!' >.<). Eh, who am I kidding? I'm gonna miss her. But anyways, tomorrow I'm going shopping, so hopefully my post will be a little bit more exciting. Until then, sayonara!

Typical Monday

Well. Today I woke up just like any other day. Yeah, it was a typical Monday, with chores to do, grass to cut, and college things to take care of. The good news is that I almost have all of my stuff ready for college. I'm still worried about where it's all gonna fit, but everyone (and by everyone I mean some college friends and my brother) keeps telling me that I won't believe what will fit. I guess I'll find out in about a week and a half.

Other than that, it was a typical Monday. Nothing much happened, didn't see any weird wildlife (like we saw bunnies trying to get it on in our backyard last night- don't ask- and we saw a baby possum and the mother (to which my mother decided to go and scare away by yelling at it, which I doubt will scare it away at all), and nothing exciting happened with any of the neighbors. All I heard was the normal chirping of the birds and the occasional humming of the police helicopter (which hovers over our house every other day anyway, so it's not like I'm used to it or anything. XD), so yeah. Another typical evening in the Deitsch household. Got more grass to cut tomorrow and probably more chores to do, so tomorrow's post will probably be similar to this one. Until then, sayonara!

Boring Sunday

Ok, I promised a post later tonight, so here it is! Today wasn't really that exciting, so I apologize for the short post. I went to Mass, then came home and cleaned my room. That's pretty much it. I helped my mom with groceries, and then just relaxed. I did make dinner, which was grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's a favorite of mine, and so I decided to make it and mom approved.

Oh! We also got some more college stuff together. It's starting to grow into a pile (it's so unorganized that even if I want to take a picture of it [which I still don't know how to add those one, but I'll figure it out soon!] I wouldn't want to post it on here because of how horrible it looks) that will probably continue to grow over the next two weeks. Well, that's it for this boring Sunday evening. Sayonara!

My semi-perfect day!

Wow. Where to start. Well, I guess I could start with my rant about having to get up for work at 5:45 in the morning. >.< (Yes I am still ranting about it and have every right to. It's hard waking up that early on a Saturday! (Forgive me if I randomly change subjects. I am watching the olympics as I type this.) Anyways, not only was it an early start, but it was a boring one too. Things didn't pick up till about an hour before my shift ended., so I was standing there yawning for the first three hours of my shift. >.<

Even though work was horrible, the day ended great! I ended up hanging out with a good friend of mine for the rest of the day. Came back home and had me some ice cream, and it was the perfect end to an almost-perfect day. I finally get to relax tomorrow. Or so you would think. Nope, after mass, I get to do chores! >.< Hate chores. But hey, I'll get them done. They're paying for my phone and unlimited texting! Anyways, it's late, and I have to get up early yet again so I can take a shower before mass. Sayonara!

Semi-busy day

Hello my fellow readers! It is 10:13 AM in my town! Ok so the reason I'm blogging this early is because I have a semi-busy afternoon/evening. Why you ask? Well you didn't think I was gonna leave you hanging did you? XD Of course not! I'm not that mean (at least not all the time!)! So, on to the explaining of my posting!

So, my aunt decided that I could have this refrigerator that she had up in her attic for forever for my dorm room. It still works! My mom was deciding when we were going to go to my aunt's to go pick it up. Lo and behold, she picks tonight. The same night that I wanted to go to bed early because I have to wake up at 5 something in the morning to go to work (is that ridiculous or what? I have to be there by 6:45 AM for opening. >.<)

So to make it seem a lot better, my mom suggested that before we go to my aunt's to pick up the fridge, to make up for the fact that she planned this on the night I wanted to sleep early, we should go out to dinner. I agreed. Guess where we're going? Uno's! (For those of you who don't know, Uno's is a famous pizza place near where I live.) It used to be my dad's favorite place to eat besides Gold Star (before he died 8, [almost 9 years in November] years ago due to liver cancer, he was a manager for Gold Star).

So that's my day today! Hope you enjoyed reading this! I gotta go eat some breakfast and do some chores for my mom. Sayonara!

Starting Out. Again.

Ok. So I know that I said I was going to keep up with blogging. Well, I got lazy, made a few posts, and then that was it. Yeah, I know, you're probably wondering why you should read this one and if it will actually be worth your time. Well, you know that old saying 'Third time's the charm'? Well this time I actually mean it. I am determined to keep this blog alive, no matter how hard college (and eventually) real life gets. But I am making a commitment to this one, and I WILL follow through!

So now that my mini rant of determination is over, it's time to get to the interesting part! What did I do today? Well, I'd thought you'd never ask! College is getting closer, and with only about a week before I move in, we're (that is, me and my mom) scrambling to find things that we might need for my dorm room (if you have any suggestions please please PLEASE comment and let me know! Ideas are always appreciated!). Well, you kind of have to know what the room looks like in order to actually buy things that will fit.

With that in mind, I decided to take a trip (a 45 minute one with no A/C cause my car is old, which was pure suicide) to see what my actual dorm room would look like. (It looks really small so I'm nervous everything won't fit! Guess I'll find out on move-in day!) After taking pictures (and getting very excited about moving in!) I hung out with a friend. I won't say his name for reasons (you should know those reasons by now), which was amazing! We ate lunch together, laughed a lot, made a lot of wrong turns, and ended up taking a tour of the area around our college (he's the same major as me!). He's cute, caring, and can make me laugh till my sides hurt. We met at a social for our college, and haven't stopped talking/skyping/texting since! <3

Needless to say, it ended very well (not telling what happened! ;) ) and I couldn't have been happier. I wish I could have re-lived it a thousand times over (despite the scorching temps! >.< ), no forever and ever and ever! Anyways, after that I drove home (another 45 minutes, plus the fact that I took the wrong exit, got lost, and freaked out a little) and flopped on the couch to relax the night away. Overall, it was one of the best days of my life, and I'll never forget it.

So, that's my day! Sorry for the novel, but to those of you who read this to the very end, thank you so much! I promise the rest of my posts won't be as long. Well, they might, but I'll try to keep my promise! If I don't, I apologize in advance! Thanks for your support and patience! Sayonara! (Goodbye!)
